I don't know what, in particular, a "bfa" banana plug is, but I'm using a couple of Signal Cable speaker cables, in the bi-wire config, with my LSi9s. The cables have banana plugs on both ends and they work fine.
Bi wiring doesn't seem to make any difference. -

I am not, I just got some MIT's that use a different type. (I was using bare wire ends before) The BFA type look like they would provide more surface area contact, and I see no reason they wouldn't work with LSi's. -
If it has a hole like monitor 50s they will work swell.
I have those as my connectors now and they work great.Receiver

I use SC speaker cables with the BFA banana plugs on my LSi9/LSiC. No issues that I have had or are aware of. Call and talk to Frank if you are concerned.DKG999
