I need some 450uf caps for my crossovers. Need minimum 150 volt, preferrably 300+ volt non polar. Does anyone have any for sale or know where I can find them?

Why such a high voltage cap???

For crossovers tie a couple of these together...

I would use a pair of caps as well; it would be the best bang for the buck.

Not sure why such a high value cap, but that's what is in the stock x-overs. F1 recommended three 150uf Solen caps, but at $40.70 ea I was hoping to find a single cap that would work. I haven't been able to find 450's anywhere, but they must be made because that's what's in there. As I need a single 150 for the woofers, I guess I'll just bite the bullet and buy ten of them at $36.63 ea. That will give me a couple of spares. I just hope I can fit all those caps inside the back cover on the Plats. Thanks for the replies all.

I sincerely doubt your crossovers would ever see that kind of voltage in any circumstance. They're built with overkill in the equation and the Non Polarized will be a good choice. I've used dozens of them and they're a quality product. FWIW.
Good luck and let us know how it all works out

I've smoked the original 150uf100vnp caps twice since I've had the speakers. I'm powering them with Silver 9t monoblocks that are 575 W at 8 ohms. That's why I want higher voltage caps to handle the high wattage. Bob told me last year he should have used higher voltage caps and recommended doing so when I got around to rebuilding the crossovers.

Film caps will sound better anyway.
