    I'm feelin' the love....

While the round of thanks and praise is going, I've got to give a shout out to the Doc and Dan for the much enduring assistance they've given me: Dan with the AVR and gear selection tips and Doc for the sub-frequency sub pointers to get the most out of my sub.

    Dan,
Good long post. Again, I think we're closer than it may sound in our posts.

As Joe said, and you seconded, it can be a never ending pursuit... and that's half the fun.
    More later,
    Tour...

right now im playing with blending muti-channel and two channel, they say it dosent work, but im getting real good results, its real pain in the **** hard to do thing, i can switch back and forth while i seat at the sweet spot and this helps a lot its getting closer to live than two channel, and it dont sound fake. you work the distants & volume of speakers on the processer in a vary small amount i run may yamaha receiver on the center surounds and the lfe- out to my 15" sub only and blend the volume controals of aragon pre-amp and the yamaha rx-1 receiver, set the yanmaha to pro logic enhanced and lord & behole
    the magic is there.

the room abiedance is perfect, thats what you cant get with two channel. and you have to have the right recording not all recordings will work.

how i set up two channel & muli-channel, is i run my sony s-7000 dvd player as a transport to aragon d2a ad converter and run a vary expenive 1/2-m 75 ohm digital cable from sony to converter, then i run the best 2- m monster toskink optic cable from sony to the yamaha receiver, speaker cables from there to the center, rear center, and . surounds, and efects , then run the best monster 2-m interconnects from da converter to aragon 24k sp pre-amp then the same interconnects 2-m to the aragon 4004 mark 2 amp , speaker cables form amp to the right and left psw-650s then to the rt-7 on top of the 650 with pedestals, dont want any weak links

that my set up now and it is working great, mite tweek some.

why two channel and multi-channel, two channel you get the best front stage preforments. and wend you add blended abiedance multi-channel mix, that gives a suttle airy room abiedance then your music approahes a real live musical preforments.

the problem, its a pain in the **** to get right
