    Nice little 3.1 for $100

    https://baltimore.craigslist.org/ele/d/polk-audio-rt25i-center-and/6428347261.html

I paid this much for just my RT25i's and IMO, they're worth every penny!

S6's in North Jersey in original packaging for $15!

    https://newjersey.craigslist.org/ele/d/polk-audio-s6-speakers/6419012207.html

I'm a little partial to these as they were my first 'good' speakers and what got me hooked on Polk Audio. I paid 20+ times that for mine new back in the very early 90s... Man, if I were closer, I'd grab these just for the nostalgia effect!

A nice little 5.1 set for $125 in SC:

    https://greenville.craigslist.org/ele/d/polk-audio-speaker-set/6416524559.html

    I'm guessing RT25i, RT35i, CS245i, and PSW250?

I think a Polk Club member already bought these and another set that owner had in the Org. boxes too. B)

Why are the cabinets so darn thick ? Is there a woofer on the back too ? NOPE.

I just read the owners manual online and found a bunch of reasons why it is what it is.

3" thick front baffle for the woofer section or entire front baffle . :o

    But for 7500.00 I don't know.

the ad says "Has some blemish on it" .....my butt. They have ALOT

I think they were in a flood and floated on their backs. wow. :s
And we don't know what the speakers look like either . :o

I like a good deal and will forgive some blemishes and not even mention them if the price is really low.

    But , 200.00 I don't know. 50.00 maybe.

This this an ok price on an older amp that will need to be freshened up in the not too distant future? https://modesto.craigslist.org/ele/d/carver-tfm-35x/6436070811.htmled9hhah0a9tu.jpg

That thing is filthy. But the price is right ! ;) I just noticed the seller cleaned it before they put it on top of the Pioneers. Looks great now !

I have that amp now and I also have those Pioneer speakers it's sitting on too. LED power distortion lights. Great sounding speakers too.

Those are SDA2b they rank good BUT in scary condition.

The amp is a good one for a good price BUT will need a recap and completely gone through. Figure another 400 for that.

Very good price for that amp. I think I paid a bit more than that for a TFM-25x on here in the Flea Market a couple years ago and it was in rough shape (missing rack handles and non-working meter lights).

If you like the Carver sound, go for it. To me, they are a little too bright/harsh as I prefer a warmer sound (Parasound and B&K are what I've come to enjoy).

I think that IS a good price from all the reviews I've ever read considering Wilson speakers. Reviewers always state the stratospherically high prices but at the end of the reviews...they wish they had the ability to buy the review samples . LOL.

160 Lbs. EACH speaker ! Good God...what are they made with ?!

If I was closer.. I noticed a pack of " touch up markers " on the same table. Somebody's doin some touch up on those towers. But they still look great from here !

I always liked Rotel electronics !

And after hearing a set of Polk towers just like those but different series, I was BLOWN AWAY by the huge sound-field they produce and the BASS....WOW. .Impressive !
I would have to hear those powered subs work before I leave and the tweeters too. I bought a set of RTi8's on a table / shelf up in the air. I thought the tweeters were working but they weren't. I wonder if the seller in the ad is doing the same trick .

So , A huge Rotel receiver and a BEAUTIFUL set of POLK powered towers at a steal of a price. Could be a WIN, WIN, WIN !

It's some sort of polymer material. It is so hard that there are special milling tools made for it and they dull fast. It has a single letter designations like material X and M iirc.

Depends.... are you even remotely close to Chicago, or know someone that can get you a set from there to you?
