Re: RT5000 7.1 system, RT3000p's, CS1000p, FX1000's, RT3000p sats and spares -ATL
The pics are a good sample of the cosmetic condition. I can provide more, if you like. The speakers are 20 years old, and have some use, but not abuse. I've owned multiples of all the speakers, and always kept the ones in the best condition and sold the 'less than' ones. I installed them in my HT and left them alone. That all said, when compared to the condition of most 20 year old speakers, these are at least 8 or 9 out of 10.
From a functional perspective, everything works, and I have spares for every component. Spare sub amps for the RT3000ps AND the CS1000p, (rare as chicken's teeth) crossovers, sub and mid drivers, etc. Original interconnect cables, manuals, too.
There's a set of RT3000p's on eBay right now in much worse condition and ask price is $1,399. Now, those have not sold, but I think my price is in the ballgame, especially with all the spares.
As far as getting them to you, I can meet you halfway or so if needed. FWIW, I flew to Charlottesville, WV and drove the RT3000p's back several years ago. I also drove from ATL to Tallahassee to pick up my 707's, 702's and 703's. As pittdogg2 said, road trips for new toys can be a lot of fun. Load up some great tunes, and coffee up.... you'll be there before you know it.
Let's do a deal.

Re: Technically feasible…
Good thing the plaster was tough back then Doc OR there could have been body inpressions on the walls.

Re: The Grande Utopia Project
Come on, John. You, of all people, should know that Trey is well beyond this kind of "advice". Life happens and FWIW? He's got the cutest little one that I have seen in some time.
The man just remodeled his home and expanded it for his new family (and did a STELLAR job, might I add). One can't just wave their hand or snap their fingers and have everything absolutely perfect for their listening situation. Just sayin'

Couldn’t agree more.

Re: WiFi signal to TV
That's crazy low. What is your cable provider's minimum standards?
Tom
You can also use the electrical plugs as extenders providing you buy the correct ones then hard wire your tv. Powerline ethernet adapters is what they are called.
So, if the speed at the router is slow will these increase the speed in the network? The best speed I get at the router using ethernet is about 20 Mbps and it's irratic as very often it's about 50% of that.
Maybe you need a new router. How old is it and who is it through, OR maybe give your provider a call and see what they can do for you.
Y'all aren't grasping that he has T-mobile home internet. It is a gateway device that uses 5G and 4G LTE signals to provide wifi in the house.
