"Superb" NAD Customer Service!!

I posted awhile back about the troubles I was having with my T773 avr. I purchased the unit almost 5yrs ago (2/04). The unit worked great, until just recently it started acting up. I sent it in for repairs ($400 bill). The unit just couldn't get fixed properly. So I contacted NAD & they went out of their way to make me happy.
They appologized for the inconvenience & offered to send me a T765 model (sells for well over 1K) at "No Charge" not even shipping. Dang!!! I wasn't expecting that especially since the T773 was 3yrs out of warranty. The T765 is the new replacement model for the T773.
I was expecting the usual...well we're awfully sorry but the unit is 5yrs old. Just go buy another one. Not so with Bob Moran at NAD. Wonderful fellow to talk to & he couldn't be more accomidating.
Their new lineup is supposed to be dynamite & Bob said I'll be "very pleased" in how much better it will perform over the T773. Burr Brown DAC's, outstanding pre section for 2 channel & the list goes on & on.
Also, Bob did offer me the opportunity to move up to the T775 model for a small fee. I declined the offer. For now the T765 is all I'll need & within the next month after the new T...HD models are on the scene, the upgrade moduals will be available for all the previous T series units. This way you can actually pick & choose a module that suits your needs. Very smart thinking on NAD's part.
Again, KUDO's to NAD & their superb customer service & commitment to their customers!!!

Isn't it great when a company goes out of their way to please the customer!!! I think Polk comes to mind also as having dynamite customer service & goes out of their way to please.
The one thing that really has me giving KUDO's to NAD is that my T773 was 5yrs old & 3yrs outside of the warranty. They really didn't have to do anything. -
I love stories like this. Good for you and good on NAD. They just right now moved up the ladder of respect for me.

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
Nice to hear they stand behind their products. I've been SERIOUSLY eyeballing the C-372 model on AA
I just have to wait for my w2's so I can do my taxes and come up with a budget!!I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -
That's great customer service!!I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Yep!! NAD is solid in my book for sure. I won't hesitate to pick up more of their gear.
During our last conversation, you mentioned you had a boat load of cable. I might be swapping out the cable run to my surrounds (about 80'). I'll give you a ring to discuss.
