Is it normal for these amps to have a hum? Or do I have a Bad amp? Is there anything I can do to stop this hum besides send it in for repairs?

Is this amp new to you or did this problem just start? Do you have a cheater plug you can use for a test, the three prong to two prong adapter. If yes try using it on you amp's power cord and see if it helps. Do you have it on a good power conditioner, not just a surge protector?AVR: Elite VSX-21TXH

I don't have a cheater plug but I have tried different outlets and I do uses a good power conditioner. I guess I should pick up one of those cheater plugs. The amp is not new. I Bought it second hand and this is the first chance I've tried it out.Front - RtiA5's

It's a faint hum/hiss mainly coming from the tweeters it seems. It occurs on all channels.Front - RtiA5's
