BB is sending out $50 gift card to any one who bought there HD DVD player from them before 2-23-08.

    that's cool... i should be getting a gift card then too.. sounds like I don't have to do anything. they will automatically send it to me. that's pretty cool. they won't make you jump through several hoops to get it either.

    They also mention that you can trade in your HD DVD. That is way cool. I wonder if Amazon will do the same......

    i'm keeping my player.. it's BOTL anyways... but the $50 in gift card will be nice.. and will prob go towards a BD player anyways. ;)

    You can check the value of your player on their trade-in site. I have an HD-A3 and the site says they will give me ~$33 for it, $50 with 6 hd-dvds. Its a nice gesture there, but I'll take my giftcard. If I want to get rid of the a3, they are going for an average of $50 on the bay.
