I'm selling my CS400i+shipping, Excellent condition, no marks or anything like that. It comes with Original packaging and Manuals. The shipping will be $45.00 anywhere in North America, that is UPS ground standard.

I think the fair price that I'm asking will be $350.00, 99.9% Excellent. If no one here will get it I will list at ebay after couple of days.

If you interested let me know.

Thanks Polkies for looking,
Har

Darn, I under priced the one I sold recently in this forum for $200 including shipping which was $20 from the east coast to the west coast. ;)

Your not joking. That price is very high for a Polk CS400i. I have seen other members only ask for $200-$250 max for a mint condition CS400i. Even on ebay you can get a better deal. Plus the shipping is outrageous too. I've shipped many things UPS ground and I know the size of the original CS400i box. I know for a fact that UPS ground shipping would only be around $20 max. Someone's out to take advantage of other Polk members it seems like.
It also seems like this guy has bought many things on this flea market board, so one would think he would want to cut other members a break. I guess not.......

I just checked my FedEx bill for shipping the CS400i.

Weight 30 lb with declared value of $400 was $21.96 from Augusta GA to San Jose, CA. $45 is about 2X the shipping charge from NY to CA.

and that was fed ex...which is usually a little more expensive than ups ground. like i said, ups ground shouldn't be more than $20 max. charging $45 to other polk members for shipping is just wrong, and also charging $350 for the speaker itself. WOW. someone has a big set of brass ones. i can get a brand new csi40 for less than that.

Well guys, correct me if I'm mistaken about the shipping, I'd just
projected the max. for it ...but in reality I'm not gonna charge you
    for that amount.

For the $350.00 that is only what I'm asking...you can make a
    reasonable offer.

You can also check this link about some other fellows asking
    for their CS400 not CS400i...

Because we are all in this club... I'm not overpricing you guys...
I will listen to other offers though.

That's nice of you...I did not come out here making money
from you, I'm just asking for the price of the Excellent condition
of the item. Anybody want to make an offer below, what
I'm asking is a fair price I will be considering it.

Besides this is Vintages Polk you cannot find them in
    stores...

I never swear to other club members for whatever they want
    for their stuff...

    Peace,

You guys need to quit cracking on Har. He has been around for a while and is not out to screw anyone. Don't like his price...a simple click of the mouse and you're on another topic. Hey...its better than asking twice it's original MSRP like you see on e-bay because it's now "vintage" or a "collectors" item.

    Hey Guys,

Har said "asking" price and if you don't like it, then if you must, say so politely. There is no need to be rude.

I'm sorry to say you will NEVER get that price on the center. They are awesome centers but NOBODY will pay. Pawn shop prices have them at 200.00 max. Thats why i'm selling my 350 for $125.00. They are not worth the price anymore:(

Again i mean no disrespect but how can you consider the cs400i a vintage product? They can be had all over ebay and everywere else. The sda's i consider vintage but not the cs400i. sorry.

    Hey-
Hahaha I think thats funny, the refrence to the audiogon link above was infact me posting a wanted ad. I told all those dorks to get lost because a brand new csi40 on ebay is 300 max. shipped everyday. I posted that in hopes of getting a good deal from someone upgrading to the new series, but alas none to be found anywhere! I might be interested in this center though, email me and we will talk. I need a center for my rt2000i's and f/x 500i's I just got :) thanks everyone and take it easy. Cheers, Mike

Har is a good guy. A perfectionist as well. I'm sure a lot of the centers you see for sale are not really mint.

I sold my CS 400i, in mint condition with original box and manual, on Ebay for $230
    + $25 shipping.

I sold my RT 55i's, in mint condition with original box and manual, on Ebay for $300
    + $45 shipping.

These were from my first HT system which consisted of a CS 400i center, RT 800i fronts, RT 55i rears, and PSW 650 sub. All were in mint condition and all were sold on Ebay.;)

I sell on e-bay regulary, past 3 years anyways... I do alot of research on items i like and what i sell to see whats worth what and whats selling when i'm looking for stuff to resell.. The cs400i speaker sells consistantly for $230-250 on e-bay, box or not, mint or used that what it sells for, I made a side deal for mine and sold it 255.00 including shipping, which was under 20 bucks, Oh and fed ex ground is far cheaper then ups ground, I have shipped hundreds of items each year and thier new ground service is really cheap.. Just to let ya know/help you guys out on shipping items. I picked up a almost new csi40 for 240.00 and picked it up locally, can't beat it...

Ight, I got something that ya'll might remember...LOL! Well do ya'll remember that Beavus and Butthead DVD? 70 dollar DVD that sold on EBay for 610 bucks? Well, I'm sure whent he seller put it on EBay he never intended to make 610 dollars. An idiot buyer just paid it! Now Har even said (In my understanding), His highest price was w/e has asked first post, and he will take lower prices, as long as its reasonable! So, I truly dont see exactly why ya'll are being so rude about it, whether you want the center or not! If you don't like his price, see if he will go lower - or to your wanted price. I mean think a little before you start chopping wood, ya know what I mean?
Damn you all, damn you all to hell.......

$200 is a good buy on the mint CS400, may be $225 is a reasonable asking price, if you really want to sell it, by asking $350, almost anyone can buy that speaker brand new in the box including shipping. The cost of the shipping for that speaker should not exceed $20, asking actual shipping cost should be fair, and if you offer to pay 50% of the shipping cost, that would be excellent. The question is: do you really want to sell it, if you do, price to sell. Cheers...

$125 asking price for the CS350 is a steal... anyone should go for it, it would be good for a center rear channel too.

C'mon - give Har a break. Regardless of what price he is asking, he's an established member here, he knows his stuff, seems like a decent guy, and his posts are very good.

I'm with the majority here - if you don't like the price, just click to the next topic.

This is true, who cares really..... to get so frusterated with him, Thats why i stated the facts of what i knew far as shipping and prices i hve seen, Go from there. I have sold e-bay stuff and for the hell of it posted a Buy it now price well above the actual value and when someone really wants something they will jump on it, why start low and be dragged lower, Hell if ya start at 500 and someone say 300 grab it!! and so on, I tried tom post my Onkyo amp for what they sell on e-bay for(550) and no one said a thing bad or good, needless to say i decided to keep it... I paid 250 but why not take the chance right? Good luck Har

Yeah, give Har a break, he is (albeit an SDA hoarding ****) a good guy. As has been said before, if you don't like the price or whatever, be polite.

Personally, I think jmanpolk owes him an apology.
