I need some advice. We have moved to a new house, and we are setting up a home gym in our FROG. (Talk about expensive stuff, but cheaper than 3 years of gym memberships.) The system will primarily be for music and accuracy is not a top concern. (Its a gym.) But we need versatile speakers since we will be playing metal, hip hop and techno. I took my HT speakers up to the FROG and I really liked the RTi4s. The monitor 30s were are very good. I will be getting a total of 4 new speakers. I don't want to spend more than $300 to $400 for the new speakers. They will be run by an older Yamaha RX-V701 (rated at about 80 RMS I think). The sub is an older BIC Venturi 1200. I am needing to save some money becuase I just bought all the HT gear in my sig and we have not finished remodeling this house (doors, faucets, door knobs - all this really stupid stuff is very expensive.)

POLK AUDIO R300's are on sale now at Fry's for $49.99 each.
They usually run sales on the R150 also - between $39.99 - $49.99 for the pair. All you have to do is wait.
You could probably find R15's on eBay for $50 a pair too.
Welcome to the Club! Hope this helps
