Front and Centre Call

Looking for views and advise on the following. Am about to replace the front speakers to my HT. Due to space want to add bookshelf speakers for the fronts. The speakers are driven by a Denon 2106 AVR, use the biamp option for the fronts to give 5.1 HT.

Have the following;

Centre is monitor CS2
Sub PSW10
Surrounds is a pair monitor 30

Am looking at the following options
1. add a pair of Monitor 40s - lowest cost but is it the best sound option ?

2.Add a pair of RTi6 - but what will this sound like with the CS2 ?

3. Add RTi6 and replace the centre with CSi3 - most expensive option, how much improvement ?

Would appricate the view pts.

    Go with option #3.

    go with option 4, pr of Rti8s, CSi5 center, FXi3 surrounds, Rti 4 back surrounds. Huge Improvement, reason I say that is, make the upgrade worth your while even if you have to buy the speakers a pair at a time my friend.

    I like option #3, next being option #2 followed by #1. The RTi6's have a perfect timbre match with the CSi3's.

    option 3 if it is in the budget. I like the monitor line, but if you have a road to get up to the RTi series on your budget, do so. changing the surrounds can be for down the road. The Mon series for surround will be fine in that set up in the short to moderate term.

    Thanks for the advise. As a closing comment the local shop let me trial the RTi6 at home. They fell well short of the sound stage I have with the monitor 60s and CS2. Would seem to me I lost depth and size to the front sound stage. The incremental change was limited and in the wrong direction - which I suspect was what the replies above were saying. So will stay with what I have and re aggrange the house to suit.
