excellant speaker positioning tool
Options
You know how you think you've got everything aimed just right at your sweet spot?
Get a small square and a lazer pointer.
Using the speakers edges as reference points, center the square on top of the speaker, then lay the lazer pointer along side the square and hit the button.
I played around a little last night.
My center channel was firing way too high, and both front speakers were toed out considerably.

...brilliant ideas that come to you at 1am in the morning.
The lady and kids were sleeping so I will have to wait until tonight to listen.
The kit sounds cool.
How much is a kit?
I just used my son's lazer pointer (9.99).

If you're an adventurous DIY sort...
Check out www.leevalley.com. Search for laser level.
A combination square, some duct tape, and Red Green's
your uncle.

I will not accept responsibility for anyone overspending at that site! </standard disclaimer>Time is the best teacher. Unfortunately it kills all its students. -
This is truly a funny show. Watch it on PBS all the time.
Using Reds ingeniuity.... all you need is a lazer pointer....maybe $5-$9 bucks,
and a small square.
Level? who the hell cares if it's level.
Are you trying to play pool on it?

I really did use it to grade a drainage line from the house.
Nothing like having a gadget that actually proved to be useful!
I prefer the older episodes to the new Red Green show but they still have their moments. Now, if I could find a turntable some duct tape a tripod, and a tripod, I'm sure I could fashion a laser line generator.
