Good thing you're selling the center for $200. Now I won't be able to sell my CS2 which i was asking $240 for. You just saved me $60 that I would have spent for upgrading. Thanks! (i dont mean that sarcastically either)

...AND CIRCUIT CITY WILL NOT TAKE THEM BACK IF CANT FIND RECIEPT.
Besides being hard on the eyes, it's not truthful.

    From the CircuitCity website:
For any exchange or refund, we need the original receipt or a record of the purchase in our system, and the product must be in its original condition, including the box, UPC bar code, packaging, and all accessories.

Just me, but I'd steer clear of this one...

CC advertises that you don't need the receipt. Remember the TV commercial about the guy saying he needs to return it because he's moving to England?

You two beat me to it. I worked at Circuit City two years ago and was there for five years through college. You do not need a receipt to return an item. They can do a name search, phone number search, and even a credit card number search to track down your order number.

Sounds a bit fishy to me as well.

GOD people, Did not wanna write a book when I was trying to sell my speakers. But here it goes. Bought the speaker when I bought my new TV from CC. I did not hook the center up right away, was waiting to watch a movie so I could compare my old center to the Cs2. But due to my work schedule this was a couple of weeks before I watched a movie. After reading this forum I realized I bought the wrong center to match my Rti's. Well I did lose my recipt and yes CC can look it up with my phone number and they did but it was over 30 days and they will not take it back. I buy my speakers from Tweeters normally thats where I got my Csi5, and they give you a year. Did not realize CC only gives you 30 days. By the way my wife found the reciept and they still would not take it back. The speaker was used one time and maybe out of the box for a week. This is long I know but I dont like being called a LIAR!!!!!!! All my equipment stays in new condition. Next time I will not go into such detail. I will just list what I have forsale. I was trying to be HONEST but did not wanna write a book. Any more question PLEASE let me know.

    Honesty is the best policy.

Think about it. When dishonest people try to push stuff on people they usually have a story that goes along with why they're selling it. You stating that you couldn't find the receipt sounded a bit fishy. We look out for one another here, which you should be thankful for.

... and we look out for each other around here. You would not be the first person to throw in a couple dozen posts and then post something for sale hoping to catch a fish.

No one said, "Liar", just not truthful, which your inital post was not.

It's not that we know you're bad and looking to rip someone off... it's that you're new and we don't know you.... yet.

CC is a **** run org if I've ever seen one. ANYthing past 30 days they won't touch.
Their advertising about the receipt is a PITA. I had something happen when I bought a DVD (of a movie I'd already owned which i found out when i got home). I tried to take it back and I think I even had the receipt, but some of the information had faded off (it was also something like 35 days past original purchase). They said my receipt was invalid and I couldn't return the DVD, so I told her that she could keep it and I started to walk away. I'll be damned if they didn't end up doing the return..........****.
