    I prefer a custom made concrete horn. This would come up from my basement and use 8 18" Adire Maelstrom subwoofers. Fast, musical, yada, yada, yada!


    There's an obsolete Polk sub that uses 2 6&1/2" woofers and a Passive. If you can land one of these, you're golden. Other than that, I like used, DIY, or discontinued. I picked up discontinued Yamaha YST-160 for $199.00. It's rated to 20hz:p , but it actually rolls off much sooner. I know this sub is not the concrete horn that I'm looking for and have disconnected it.:p

    but...my favorite sub is the M&K's with the push pull...THEY ROCK! they can make the dang nails come loose in ur house man...and they go way below 20...
