This is only the 2nd or third time I've listened to this. There was some talk about The KLF in another thread about a month ago and I missed it at the time. I read it a few days ago and decided to revisit this album. It is totally not what you remember The KLF sounding like. When I first listened to this album, about 30 minutes in, I started thinking this sounded like another familiar band. I checked the album notes, and wikied some of the names. Yep, the two musicians that made this KLF album continued on as the trance band duo The Orb!

Note: the album year in this files metadata is based on the US CD release date, the original release is 1990, before the Orb' first album "Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld"

Recently, I was lucky to find this 3-disc set for a reasonable price.

Note: these alternate mix tracks aren't necessarily better sounding than the album releases; In fact, they mostly are worse. They are a cool insight into various alternate arrangements which are really quite different.

Back when the only HiFi I had access to was my own car audio system, this was one of my favorite albums. Still doesn't sound right at 85dB average...s60gbvgaobna.jpg6j9h7o1k3r82.jpg

I had to overcome the loud ambient noise in that old 1983 Mustang GT (T-tops)

Since I have gotten older I can appreciate some bluegrass music. Modern day country is abysmal imho.

I spent 30 years of my younger years In KY and several years living and working in Eastern KY. That’s like a whole different world there in the Appalachias.
Since we don’t know where we are going we have to stick together in case someone gets there….Ken Kesey.

I was. Kacey Musgraves takes up one hand. We are talking less than 20 out of more than 2200 albums.
