Our big (30lbs) black cat Newton had a thing for the door stops, my Daughter's black cat Sydney like to unroll the TP and lick people's faces, our current polydactyl tabby Mya has a thing about TV and and mirror surfaces where she has to act like she's scratching them without using her claws. One thing you can count on is cats are strange critters.

Jasper left the TP rolls alone but would pull off and chew on the rubber caps found on the wound spring door stops. Had to remove them from every room until he passed away.
I had a pitdogg that would flip those to hear the twang they made for hours.

    Day and night? :#

Yes. It wasn't so bad at night as my bedroom was upstairs. But when she would start "talking" back at it at 3 a.m. I drew the line. 😜

The old fashioned solid ones would have ticked the dog off! :D However, take one fun thing away and they will find something else to mess with.

You heard how they say you can't train a cat? Jasper loved Tuna. No matter where he was or slept, even in basement, as soon as the can opener punctured the lid, he was on you. The wife was opening cans, I grabbed Jasper's front paws, but them on her behind and told him if he slaps his paw there he will get it faster. Guess what he did every time someone opened a can of Tuna...lol

Picked up a pair of free monitor 10’s.
Figured I’d just clean them up a bit.

This is what I found inside both cabinets…
