    Every so often, I turn the lights up bright and try to look through my CD towers for forgotten albums that I haven't ripped. This week, I ran across this album, which had gotten lost in my memory between the Crystal Method album Vegas and the band called Dirty Vegas. I now remember that I really liked this back in 1997.

    This album really has some unique sounds and it spans the genre. I'd give it a full listen before passing judgment. It is heavily electronic, and mostly instrumental, so if you're not into that, maybe pass.

    This album came out in the peak of the Napster craze, which is how I first heard it. I had a crappy mp3 tracklist that was out of order and missing tracks. Eventually, I bought the CD. Much better.

    Not long after highschool, I had my first "Goth girlfriend." Didn't last long. She was really into this at the time, so of course, I was too. Still a good listen. I believe it won a Grammy for production. Lullaby is definitely the best track.

    There is some trial software that will let you rip the 24-bit DVD-A layer off the disc and give you a FLAC file. I did it recently for my Jamie Cullum dual-disc. Let me know if you want to try that.
