Hello,
Does anyone know if the mid drivers from reserve series would match the legend series?
I called polk and was told nothing was available for the legend.
More knowledgeable good people, please help?
Thanks.

Call Polk and ask for Kim Jasper. Maybe Kim can check with the engineers and see if they have something for you.

I believe the R500 mid-driver is the same 5.25" turbine driver as the L600.Political Correctness'.........defined

I gotta hear the story for why you need a mid driver for an L600.
Does it involve kids and a box of sharp, stabby colored pencils?

If the L600s are not under warranty, could just buy a pair of used Reserve R100s and get two 5.25" drivers plus a pair of tweeters by cannibalizing. The drivers by themselves aren't cheap. Best to confirm with Polk that they are the same part numbers in both models first though. The 7 inch drivers won't be found in any other speaker.

It amazes me that Polk could provide drivers for 30 year-old SDA’s, but five minutes after the production line is shut down a new speakers they run out of parts. I just want to stock some spares. No one poked anything, yet.
