They didn't label which one was for the backdoor doorbell. -
I'm glad you did at your house, but if you just had a button to push like a normal person, it would be a lot easier than flipping the switch up and down to make it go "ding-a-ling."

Ivan's probably got one of those pull chains going up to a bell tower. The pull chain doesn't ring the bell, but instead looses a boot on a swing that kicks a hunchback, and he rings the bell.
Jesse's house is always dark, and there's always an eerie mist floating across the grounds, with a wolf that howls and people screams in the distance. This is in the daytime. Nicely kept grounds, though.

No, because the screws are on the same side. Ease of maintenance is critical.Expect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.
