Robot lawn mowers

As I was mowing in the 90 degree heat yesterday I was wondering how a robot mower would work around the headstones? A set it and forget it robot mower with all those obstacles would be great I'm thinking.
As long as the headstones were far enough apart for the mower to pass thru it would be fine. The success would be in the setup though, the initial mapping etc
That's the problem; Some stones have enough room but lots don't and there's no real pattern to the rows. Then there's the markers, raised lots, trees, bushes, flags, flower pots and a few old stones that have tipped over. I use my 16" wide battery mower which is faster than my trimmer but it's still a chore and at 70yo I'm the youngest guy there. Perhaps a perfectly laid out and well manicured cemetery like Arlington would work. -
Gotcha, definite limitations for tight spaces and perimeters. With robot mowers you still have to weed eat and edge maybe every 2 weeks. So far I spend about ten minutes every 2 weeks- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Neighbor has one, instead sitting down admiring a fresh cut lawn and enjoying a cold one after mowing, he sits down enjoying a cold one while his yard is being mowed.Home Theater

10 minutes, every two weeks to weedwhack? Geez, it takes me at least an hour, many times more. Lucky dog.

The mower has a feature called edge sense or something another and it really captures the majority of the yard.
The only thing it misses is directly beside the house and occasionally a patch of grass around an object but it does an extremely good job getting the bulk- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
I don't think a robot mower would like our yard very much.

Goats are like robots -- bad robots.

They do clear house though...
Or yard, in this sense.
