Here you go. Download and uncompress files to an empty folder, load index.html with your internet browser.
I'm not going to release the gerber files period. (Maybe later if my health doesn't improve.)
There will be no group buy or gofundme, so don't ask.
Sorry if I sound like an a$$ but I have my reasons that I don't want to get into here.

I doubt anyone thinks poorly of you. Intellectual property has value. Thanks for the excellent post!
  • Truly a loss to the SRS SDA community, I'm so happy to have logged in to see this and download the .rar before things were taken down (wouldn't have found this thread if I hadn't seen the announcement banner on the website)

Thanks for all you've done, Tony! I wish you the best and good health.
  • thank you! your work allowed me to have some fun diy!

Cheers to Tony! The gimpod boards are the bomb! And the info on the gimpod site is great.
  • Thanks very much, I have one question: are the crossovers for the SDA SRS the same as the SDA-SRS TL?
    Thank you

If you go to the vintage speaker section and look at the SDA thread you'll find the schematics for most all of them.

I have them all saved on my computer. It saves all the files in a Folder called "Gimpod website". You can access a local version of the Homepage by clicking on the index.html file in the sub-folder. From there, you can navigate and open PDFs much like the original site. If you are having a hard time opening the RAR file, install a free software like 7-Zip to help you. (www.7-zip.org)

No. He had some reasons that he did not want to provide the gerber file.

Yea, some of us tried to buy the rights to his proprietary files. He was having none of it. I was shocked to be honest.

Something upset him or there was pressure from an unknown source about the matter.
Either way, I’m sure someone could have had them copied, or done with a few tweaks if needed, if they knew what they were doing of course.

I’m grateful to have had my hands on a couple sets through the years..

I had no trouble opening them Jesse. DL then made a new folder called Polk Audio Gimpod then moved the .RAR into the folder and uncompressed with WinRAR. Thank you Tony, thank you very much. For everything!

I was just guessing/assuming, from some of his posts about them in the end of all of it, it felt like he wasn’t happy about something to do with them..
