Polk SDA Drivers MW6510 and MW6511

I bought these on eBay a few months ago after poking a hole in the surround of one of my drivers. I ended up repariging the hole and don't need these any more.
They are in excellent shape. Resistance readings are good. They sound good when bench tested (free air). The sticky coating on the cones has attracted a layer of dust.
I have used Loctite Power Grab Express Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive to secure the magnets to the basket.

$50 each
Located in San Rafael, Ca. USA.

You should keep them, they are NOT getting easier to aquire. The second thing, the powergrab is in the wrong place. It should be on top and right below the magnet. Where you put it is the only place it cannot move due to the rivets used to connect the basket to the magnet/ voice coil structure.

Good idea. I guess I'll find a place for them.

Confused about where to put the powergrab. Is it between the black magnet and the steel top?

Above and below the black magnet

Best I could do with my finger. Fill the corner void above and below.
I always did the top one day and the bottom the next day to avoid making a mess. The 2 part JB weld steel colored stuff works better. Popsicle sticks are your friend.
If you wanted to clean the dust/dirt off the cone use original Windex sprayed on a lint free type of cloth. You'll probably see a lot of brown gunk come off it. they will look almost like new when you're done. Keep the cloth wet or it will stick to the cone once it starts to dry.
