JF, you get heatstroke or did you stay in the air conditioned room?

Was outside in the sun all the time. Although I did burn my bald head on the first day while we were waiting for our room. Sunscreen was in the suitcases. We upgraded our room to a king bedroom with separate living room and kitchenette with 2 Murphy beds so the kids could be away from us. First time ever we didn't leave the resort.

In today's climate? It's probably smart that you didn't leave the resort.

Dude, enjoy. Don't hunker down. Get out and explore. The crap that happened a few weeks ago was the cartel throwing a tantrum against the military and police for taking out their big dog. Tourists and locals were not targeted. I'm counting down 52 days to 2 weeks in PV. I feel safer walking around down there then I do locally. Just use common sense and you'll be golden.

Jay Leno drives the car that was on the second and third show of the Mannix TV series, a 1968 Dodge Dart with a 340-cubic-inch V8 under the hood

The later Mannix car was, at least, cooler looking. I believe/assume(d) it was a tarted up Toronado.

We are back. I would never post that we are away while actually being away.
The only reason we didn't leave is because it didn't feel like that kind of vacation. This time it felt more of a let's stay and chill vacation. I'm really not afraid of walking around. I've walked Hollywood Blvd and Venice Beach in late evening lol.

TBD-1 Devastator torpedo bomber's role in World War II was short-lived but historic. The plane, the U.S. Navy's first carrier-based aircraft with an enclosed cockpit, became a footnote in history, and no vestige of the bomber is found in any museum or collection anywhere in the world.

The largely intact wreck of Devastator torpedo bomber BuNo 1515, ditched by its crew on Feb. 1, 1942, lies on the floor of a Marshall Islands lagoon in this undated photograph.

The Devastator Rising Project is intent on changing that by retrieving a nearly intact wreck resting in a shallow Pacific lagoon for future display in Washington, D.C.
