Nice Setup..
Those are actually Skips demos that he let me borrow while mine were being built and shipped. I had those for 4-6 months. That is also with the Niagara 5000/Hurricane prior to the 7000/Dragon.
Here is the most recent setup.

2 Channel Rosso Fiorentino Volterra II, 2 REL Carbon Limited, Norma Revo IPA-140B, Norma Revo DAC-2, Lumin U2 Mini, VPI Prime w/SoundSmith Zephyr MIMC, Modwright PH 150, Denon DP-59l w/Denon DL-301MKII, WAY Silver 3 Ana+ Speaker Cables, WAY Interconnect Cables, AudioQuest Niagara 7000 w/Dragon, WAY power cables for all other sources. -
Looks fantastic, I am jealous over the Rosso Volterra's
What are the red cables?? -
They appear to be a WAY Substance power cords.
Do I win a prize?

You are correct @treitz3 those are WAY Substance+ power cables for the subs. You can also see the WAY Silver 3 Ana+ Speaker Cables.
The system uses all WAY cables of differing levels. Power, RCA, Coax and Ethernet except for the power cable going from the wall to the Niagara 7000 which is a AQ Dragon and the RCA between the TT and Phono Pre which I am going back and forth on. The two I have been switching/using are a Furutech and a Crystal Clear Magnum Opus 2.2 Channel Rosso Fiorentino Volterra II, 2 REL Carbon Limited, Norma Revo IPA-140B, Norma Revo DAC-2, Lumin U2 Mini, VPI Prime w/SoundSmith Zephyr MIMC, Modwright PH 150, Denon DP-59l w/Denon DL-301MKII, WAY Silver 3 Ana+ Speaker Cables, WAY Interconnect Cables, AudioQuest Niagara 7000 w/Dragon, WAY power cables for all other sources. -
Found this on TMR.

@Toolfan66 how is the AQ 7000 and Dragon working out?2 Channel Rosso Fiorentino Volterra II, 2 REL Carbon Limited, Norma Revo IPA-140B, Norma Revo DAC-2, Lumin U2 Mini, VPI Prime w/SoundSmith Zephyr MIMC, Modwright PH 150, Denon DP-59l w/Denon DL-301MKII, WAY Silver 3 Ana+ Speaker Cables, WAY Interconnect Cables, AudioQuest Niagara 7000 w/Dragon, WAY power cables for all other sources.

@Toolfan66 how is the AQ 7000 and Dragon working out?
Loving it, I have been listening to my system almost daily since. Total Game Changer..
Not sure if this will make sense, maybe it will. I have found my system at times (before the 7000) would sound better certain days, and some days it just seemed off, and of course the time of day would change how I thought it should sound as well, I have yet to feel this way since I added the 7000.
This is one of the reasons over time, I just had this feeling my weak link in my system was the Panamax I had in my system. I just didn’t know how much of a weak link it was.
This will be one of my favorite upgrades I have ever done, and super bummed I didn’t do it sooner. John triggered this move with starting this thread. I was all in once he did, I knew it would be one I was going to follow..
Of course your input took the wheel, and steered me this direction. 😎 -
Glad I could help you spend money... it's what we do.

So today the second half of my Shunyata Hydra showed up. The Triton/Typhon pair was the top range of the Shunyata line when it was introduced, and at 11k for the complete package, it was certainly not cheap. The addition of the Typhon has yielded even more sonic improvement. Little things to be sure, but as they all add up, it substantial. I can hear the shimmer and decay of individual cymbals, or the resonance of a hard pluck of a acoustic guitar. Background noises like the ruffling of pages. It is crazy to me just how much power from the wall impacts what emerges from my speakers and music. I wish I would have addressed this earlier.

Another perception that comes to light... Things like piano have a palpable sense of weight or mass. The percussive action of a hammer striking a string now carries a certain "realness" that was lacking before. I can hear the lifting of those hammers from the strings as well as the lifting of the foot from the pedals and sliding to the next. Violin and Viola shine forward with added resonance. The overall tone of the music has not changed, so if you are listening for those things we listen for when we upgrade a piece of equipment, you are not going to hear it.
The best comparison I can offer is the difference between 1080p and going to 4k with HDR.The Gear... That's some serious detail your system's retrieving. 👍
Enjoyed hearing the results of your power conditioning.
You explained that in a way I could understand what you're hearing.
Questions...
Are you finding that different formats provide varying results or is it the same across all?
Do you do any analog playback?
Money well spent.
Enjoy your music.

Between the Pass XA25 and Puritan Audio Labs PSM 136 power condtioner and power cables, I am experiencing the exact same thing. It's sublime. I finally am getting the main rig dialed in. Found the correct tube combo and it's been audio bliss.
It takes the enjoyment level up a couple notches and really gets you in the "feel like you're there" mood with the right material.
Listening to Nile Rodgers Live the other night.........lights low, eyes closed....felt like I was in the 3rd row of the concert. The hair on the back of my neck was standing up.

Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. I have stayed in the streaming realm. I have been redoing my audio room and moving things about. It has been nearly a year since I spun an LP. I am shocked that I have gone from analog only/never streamer to that being my exclusive choice. The Gear...
