Not AI. It is some guy from Eastern Europe who posted it on the Polk Audio Fanatics Facebook group. He claims to be a sound stage setup guy. I guess he really likes "big sound"

I meant the cabinet the components are on/in. It looks like it’s about to collapse on itself with those angled supports.

How many pair?

I was trying to figure out what that model was! At least they're not hung from the ceiling. -
Where's the subs??? A 12 pack of REL's would really bring those puppies to life. Lol!

Yea! Dude is such a rookie!!

Coupled to the ceiling.

If I had to guess, they look like the old Onkyo Amps, I actually have one that's chillin in my basment stack of amps. I'll have to go look at it and see if it's the same, it's been years since I had it connected to anything.Dan

My first thought was Onkyo, but I couldn't find one that looked like those, so must be something else. Definitely not Sony or Yamaha.Political Correctness'.........defined

I thought it looked close. I have one of those amps I'm gonna go down to the basement and take a pic. I think I have a M504 as well, the same one in that pic.Dan

There's a Yamaha component in the cabinet, too. I thought it was a preamp in the original, murky photo -- I juiced it up a little; looks like a 1980s integrated amplifier. Maybe using the preamp section from it? Maybe bi-/multi-amping?

-
whoops! I think it's a C-4 preamp

I may have to turn in my Captain Yamaha fanboy secret decoder ring.

Ahem. On topic:
stacking -- well, whatever Polks those are... someone got inspired by the dreaded stacked Advents of yore.

-
As to the other black box... @F1nut, I'm thinkin' those two big black knobs are consistent with a Yamaha AVR such as this one(?):

or

I agree, Yamaha AVR.Political Correctness'.........defined

I stacked a pair of crs's on top of my 2.3s many years ago hoping they'd become 1.2tls; they didn't but it was fun rig for a while. Soundcraftsman separates on the crs and a yammy c4 and Mcintosh mc2500 for the 2.3s. Way more complicated than it needed to be but fun nonetheless.
-
So who has stacked 1.2's before? Come one, post a pic.--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
We did at Carverfest one year, just for fun. There is a photo out there, but I haven't seen it in years.
