And here I always thought that if my Pop had rubbed one out one more time before I was conceived the odds of me being alive would have been astronomical.
You my friend... have taken it to a whole nother level! -

You know you are old when you remember:
"The amount of smoking everywhere was unreal. In the '60s and '70s, and into the 80's the smell of cigarettes or smoke was everywhere: in homes, restaurants, grocery stores, workplaces, restrooms, hospitals, outdoors, and even on people's clothes and hair. The smell drove me bonkers!"

Oh, I remember the stench of cigarette smoke on airplanes. I grew up in the era of almost everyone smoking, so I was used to the smell, but the airplanes were particularly bad IMO.

I remember going to professional baseball and basketball games as a kid and hoping our seats weren’t next to someone who was smoking.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -

Yeah, it was bad. I started with the post office in 85. Half the break room was smoking. And crazy as it sounds, there were clip on ash trays for the manual case workers. They could smoke while they sorted mail into a case. Me on the other hand, I always had a paper cup with a paper towel in it for my copenhagen

Both parents smoked.
As a kid I remember hating to go out to eat and having to inhale cigarette smoke while eating. -
My dad's after dinner dessert consisted of two consecutive cigarettes stabbed out onto his dinner plate when done.
