Wouldn't one of the RCA ears be lopped off from top pic?

I thought about posting pictures of gas... but I decided that Polk and/or Vanilla might not care for the content a query like that would dredge up...

From the days of the Energy Crisis* -- remember that (those)?! :#
The great Crack the Sky and a song about ... energy.
    Contains the memorable lines:
I'm gonna fill my big car up
With gas, gas, gas, gas, gas
    :p

    ___________
    * actually from the second Energy Crisis... if you were there, you remember! There were two: 1974, of course... but the other one, in 1978, or was it '79? :# The latter "crisis" was the only time I ever waited in a gas line (with my 1974 Bronco, at 10 mpg when driven gently - which it never was)... but that's another story entirely...

That's interesting. More volatile I guess but propane has more chemical energy and higher laminar flamefront speed.

I just call it that since it is a propane molecule, 2 H removed with a single double-bonded oxygen (it follows the organic chem. rule of 4 bonds per carbon). The Stoichiometric ratio of 14.7 (air/fuel) is ambiguous as there are multiple varying mixtures of petrol hydrocarbons vs actual 'air' (O2) at any given altitude. The 02 is always the limiting factor going high altitude. This is the problem with carbeuration. Fuel injection can compensate on the fly, but power output will still be noticeably lower even.

I also remember a friend years back trying a few different conc. of acetone in his diesel truck. He said 6oz/10 gal for summer and 8oz/10 gal in winter without a single cold start issue.

What bothers me the most, is they didn't make right and left ones..
