Issues with S4 Wireless Subwoofer cutting out, anyone else?

Recently bought the S4 with wireless sub. Sound is absolutely incredible! My only concern is that sometimes the sub randomly cuts out. Soundbar stays on but the sub seems to cut out for about 2-3 seconds.

I read on another forum that placing the sub too close to the wifi router might be the culprit? Has anyone else experienced this?

I believe that can happen, interference between the router and the wireless connection of the sub. Can you move the router?

I'm sure I can relocate the router either with a long cable extension, or perhaps by creating a new cable outlet in another room.
  • It has nothing to do with being close to a router. My router is on the first floor. I have two S4s, both on the second floor, one on the same side of the house as it, and one on the opposite side in my bedroom. They both have the subwoofer cut out regularly (and the subwoofer is right beside the sound bar).

Gonna say that's not a defect either since they both do it.
    extremely disappointed
  • I have 2 S4's and they both do the same thing when playing music. They are connected to 2 different models of TV and don't have wifi devices anywhere near them. All my equipment is hard wired. I notice that the green led on the back of the bass unit goes off for a small period, but comes back on fairly quickly. It's very noticeable when the Bass disappears and comes back in.
I'm more disappointed that someone from Polk hasn't read these messages and provided some help.
Time to revisit the Amazon review page I think. Certainly won't be buying Polk again.
