I have to call BS. How in the hell could they collect this data? The government doesn't ask this information when applying for or maintaining SNAP benefits. But hey this country is run on fake news so believe what you want.

Oh, I don’t know - maybe driver license info cross referenced to SNAP registry…? You outta give the government more credit - they probably know a lot about us all that we’d rather they not know;-)

.... and I read yesterday there are about 45 millions folks who receive SNAP benefits.

That's about one in every eight according to stats.

I just checked the income requirements for SNAP benefits and it's $2,888 for 2 people. That's sad that there's 45 million people in this country at or below that level.
I had not heard of that program before the shutdown and I can understand now why people are uptight about losing it. That $2,888 barely covers housing in today's market.

Well, that's greatly subsidized too, but that, along with where you are going is getting into politics, which is forbidden on this board.

Now, can we kindly get back to the actual thread topic and stay there?

    Thanks in advance.

Anyone notice it says average SNAP recipient, not average female SNAP recipient? That's probably on purpose to mislead.

Yes I do! Along with some Tameless Tiger hotpants shorts. No pic exists of me wearing those because I never did! I think I got the wife to put them on once but no pic of that either. :D
