One of America's great bridges. This photo was taken 4 years ago during fall. What a great trip!

I think you might have gotten it. Most of my exploration of the Blue Ridge Parkway has been on the stretch between 441/Cherokee and 276/Pisgah.

Tony nailed it. Too bad we aren't talking about a smokin' hot woman, eh?

Hmmm may just check out that Linn Cove Viaduct. I do have in my bucket list running my Honda S2000 on the TOTD. I rode it in 79 or 80
with what was my brand new in 1978 Triumph Bonneville, exhausting to say the least.

If I can get back to health that is. So much to do and so little time.

Fresh “road kill” available at the shop today. Not sure if we’ve got pot hole possum or belly up armadillo.\

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

No, thanks. I prefer my crabs from the ocean, cooked and with butter.

A real old pic, a friend of BIL, half in the bag. I did some Quadrajet carb and distributor curve work for him. The old I put a cam in and it idles too rich because of insufficient vacuum to hold the metering rods down in jets. You had to play with metering rod spring tension.

You ran into that with Holley carbs power valves too. Sometimes you had to drill holes in the primary metering plates to keep only ~ .040" of the idle transfer slots showing beneath throttle plates or they dribble too much fuel in. Idle transfer slots compensated for slight lag of accelerator pump fuel getting into intake. Great memories.

I don't think so. Might have been 350 or 400.

One of my holy grails of the classic car world would be a 1957 Nomad with a 409.
