Nice solo. I loved Zep’s blues numbers, especially this one. Nobody had the feeling that Jimmy Page had.

My friend's older brother brought it back from college in Houston and said, "This is a new band from England." We put it on the turntable and I couldn't believe it! I think we played that album every day that summer, and many days we just laid around his place listening to "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" over and over and over. Still love that song and that whole album. Saw Robert Plant play in Santa Fe two years ago and he played Babe I'm Gonna Leave You. Still sublime.

That’s definitely one of my top 5 Zep songs and I think they did a damn nice job with it.

Yeah, their first album is unreal, I keep coming back to it too. Those early Zeppelin tracks just have a rawness that never gets old. I was lucky enough to see Robert Plant live a while back and when he played "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You," it blew everyone away, still gives me chills thinking about it. I love catching classic acts or even tribute bands live when I can, and sometimes I score seats last minute for a good price. The other day I was just checking out Backstreet Boys Tickets for their reunion shows, those are always pretty popular with a big crowd.

You went from LZ to Backstreet Boys? Seriously??

It's an A.I. bot that scanned this thread and extracted enough Zep info to make a semi-cogent comment with a SPAM link about tickets inserted into it.

    I know - my reply was satirical….
