possibly most famous for the Frank Zappa written song?
    lqaqrh221z0a.jpg
    5sajg68n8ka3.jpg
Guitarist Elliott Ingber played with early Zappa and later Captain Beefheart.

Lawence Wagner wrote 'Don't Bogart Me,' which was on the Ezy Rider soundtrack...

Bass player Martin Kibbee was in the pre-Little Feat band Factory.

Drummer Richard Hayward also played in Factory and of course, Little Feat.

Guitarist Warren Klein had an incredible run as well. He added the psych guitar parts
    to this record.

Produced by the late great Tom Wilson

I read that Norton records store (NY) packed it in.
Suddenly, a bunch of their CDs,
EPs and 45's popped up at 1/2 price books (OH)...
    I grabbed a few;

I posted this a while back...had to listen again after hearing this song prominently featured in a TV show (the 2nd time in less than 10 months). Such an interesting song. The whole album is worth a listen.
    fe14optt7el4.jpg
In case anyone is curious, the song is prominently in the first episode of The Day of the Jackal (Peacock) and again in episode six of Alien: Earth (Hulu/FX).

One of J-Dilla's best producing jobs. He was the behind the scenes dude who all the smart hip hop artists went to for their beats in the 90s. Detroit strong!

Another absolute classic from J Dilla (producer). The beats and loops are all his. What is the original source? You'd be surprised.

Interesting story about a 5 year old kid who was obsessed by this song...what were you doing at 5?

I absolutely hated this album when it first came out, but over the years it has become a favorite.

Actually I'm not listening. I may not even open it.

It heard it when it was first released in 1973. I think it's overrated (opinion). Also because it's been scarce for years, people think it must be great. I listened to it streaming a couple times before I decided to buy it. I like some of Stevie Nicks singing later in her career.

Rhino just remastered and reissued it on various LP's, some are in limited numbers, 45's, and on one CD.

I felt I could afford the $14.98 CD price, just to say I have it again, but not +$45.00 on vinyl.

I much prefer the original Peter Green Fleetwood Mac groups more than the latter ones.

Fifth U.S. release. Released in a double fatboy jewel CD case.
This release has DIDP 020204 * ** *****, also has the DADC 'D' logo added to the plastic hub.
Silver Columbia labels with text in black. Black circle with triangle is on both discs.
    Sounds good to me.
