Surroundbar 9000 won’t go past standby mode

I’ve been waiting for tech support to get back to me, but thought I’d ask here for help as well.
Has my Surroundbar 9000 died?
Yes, it is an older piece of equipment but it was working somewhat recently. I had moved the tv to another room, but hadn’t moved the 9000. I can’t remember if it was still plugged in or even turned on before finally moving it. When I finally tried to hook it up again. I pressed the power button and the power light on front blinked green three times and then turned red. From there nothing else will work or respond. The remote does nothing nor does any of the buttons on the front of the bar. The sync button does nothing and the subwoofer will blink green but never connects. I have contacted Polk customer support and we went through some basic resets, but nothing worked.
Has anyone encountered this situation? I have never had an issue with the 9000 so I’m trying to figure out what might have gone wrong. Hate to send it to recycling. If the bar is dead, can the subwoofer be used with another soundbar? Maybe someone get some use out of that at least.
Thanks for the help.

Spoke with tech support again today. They are assuming a hardware issue has occurred and considering the unit dead. It was nice when it worked, but I guess it’s off to the recycling pile now.
