You're at the dentist with your teen and in the waiting room there is a tv playing music videos from the 80s and your kids asks," why do the videos look so bad and cheap?" My response was " that's what was considered cutting edge back when I was young"
Only then did I realize that what I said dated me more than what my son said. Doh!!!!

I remember how much I loved the way that back window rolled down.
Old cars had character. Newer ones all look the same.

Your drinking shots of Prune Juice and self administering those cheap **** kits you get at Walgreens every morning for fear of constipation that the Opiods that was prescribed have a tendency of doing.

Mom’s tastier than plain Stewed prune recipe; makes 3-4 servings
    Approximately a dozen prunes*
Pot large enough so each* touch the bottom
    Enough water to cover*
    Juice of a lemon

Heat to a very low simmer, about 30 minutes.
Shut off & allowed to cool until “warm.”
Drink the broth w/a few of the prunes 2X daily until misery passes.
    Repeat as necessary

Saw this on FB and it reminded me of my high school typing class with many of my friends.

At my high school, many of the boys took typing. I am so glad I was one of them. A skill that I have used throughout my life and just now typing this statement.

When you get yourself one of these…. And when you have a pill that says “take with food”, but you realize that the number of pills you take qualifies as a meal…

. . . when you think it's Thursday but there are still pills in the Wednesday slot and you don't know whether you forgot to take your pills on Wednesday and are you supposed to take your Wednesday pills plus your Thursday pills or maybe it really is Wednesday and why did I think it was Thursday

My mother had 3 of those for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each one of those bins was as full as you could get.
It seemed like for every pill she took she took another pill to counter act the negative affects of the other pill.

I've been using those so long, the lettering is worn off and I can barely read the day if I angle it to the light. Mine are round, so there is no counting days from the left.

Years ago, I preferred them, because they stayed closed in a Ziploc sandwich bag easier when I was traveling. Of course, that was before the lettering wore off. Most would have replaced them by now, but I've been accused of being cheap. I prefer frugal.

Good grief, if you're befuddled, I'm befuddy-duddyuddled. I get all my many morning pills ready the night before and put them in one of those plastic medicine measuring cup dodads like they did when I was in hospital the one time - it adds a cerain authenticity to the whole experience.
