This ain't common core. Its a stupid social media garbage logic test. Not real math, but a 'follow the pattern' test. They post them to get views and comments. There is almost never a clear answer, but by my logic, the answer is 34. I'm sure others could argue something else and be correct as well.See profile for rigs. Nothing else here. -

4(1)+1=5; 5(2)+2=12; 6(3)+3=21; 8(4)+5=37

1 plus 4 is 5
5 plus 2 plus 5 is 12
12 plus 3 plus 6 is 21
21 plus 5 plus 8 is 34
I'm pretty sure the answer is 42 though, it's the meaning of life, 42- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Trey's example is what I thought as well, but like I said earlier, its hard to argue with maxward's explanation. Neither are wrong. Who knows what the author had in mind. Social medial garbage.See profile for rigs. Nothing else here.

The “pattern” is a+(ab)=c“Human beings are born with different capacities. If they are free, they are not equal. And if they are equal, they are not free.”

We now have 3 possible solutions. None are wrong. 34, 37, 45 all fit a pattern. Exactly what I said earlier. It is not real math. It an ambiguous social media post designed for clicks/shares/comments to monetize an account.See profile for rigs. Nothing else here. -
The answer is "mud"Gustard X26 Pro DAC

Polk SDA 1C's modded / 1000Va Dreadnaught
Wireworld Silver Eclipse IC's and speaker cables
Harman Kardon T65C w/Grado Gold. (Don't laugh. It sounds great!)

Well....wrong again, but I will award you half credit for Consistency
There is 1 correct answer, and 1 correct answer only. 🤔👍

That's easy to say when you are not offering anything to support your conclusion. Three patterns offered in this thread all fit without any dispute. No rules given for the garbage math problem, so pick your favorite.See profile for rigs. Nothing else here. -
Second guess: 45. Edit: previously guessed, but I agree.
