Continued exploration of this guy. He should be more talked about as a Jazz legend. This is worth a listen. Non-cheezy Sax is abundant, but not overwhelming.

I got to see Abdullah Ibrahim (aka Dollar Brand) in concert several years ago at the Rialto Theater in Atlanta. Surprisingly, the event did not sell well and we wound up being invited to sit on the front row. Extraordinary improvisational musicianship from a South African jazz artist of the highest order.The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.—Martin Luther King Jr. -
