Infinity RSII Speakers with interesting story in White Bear Lake, MN - $1800




These speakers are beautiful and unique! I bought them in what appeared to be unused condition. In their poly bag and in the box/s. The wood was very dry and woofer surrounds were deteriorated. I oiled (tung) them and had the surrounds replaced by Midwest Speaker in Roseville, MN. I own speakers that cost almost 20x's as much, but these are the speakers that I like to show and play for my friends and family. Awesome sound stage with open mid-range speakers and rear firing tweeters. Grills front and rear are 100% perfect (!) and the right one is still in the box (see pic). I took the left on out to inspect and test. Please read link in add as it has a lot of great info about the heirloom type speakers

Actually they came from the factory with the tweeters in a vertical orientation. A previous owner must have changed the orientation of the tweeters to lay these speakers on their sides. Obviously, the current owner didn't get the memo. Very simple fix.

Also, there's a fuse in front of each of those tweeters that could be the culprit for their lack of sound.

If any of the Denver local people are looking for a larger OLED Costco in Superior has the 2022 77" A80CK for just shy of $1900 which is a grand cheaper than the 2023 A80L is currently going for and about $1300 cheaper than it's original MSRP. When I left they had 5 more.

In store only you won't find it online.

Even the original list price of $120 is a decent buy,, no?

This is an easy road trip for me.

I've flagged/reported a few of those eBay listings as fraudulent but they keep re-creating them so clearly they don't care.

The TMR ad went up on 15 April and was "sold" on 2 August.

The Audiogon ad went up on 6 August for less than half of what TMR was asking. If that's the same guy who bought the speakers from TMR, that's a pretty hefty bill for a couple of days use.

All the photos and the text in the Audiogon and the eBay ads are identical.

As noted above, too good to be true.

Cosmetically challenged Artemis EOS AS1.0 speakers and stands for $799.
