There's a whole lot of improvement that can be gained with an upgrade there including wiring.
    Gustard X26 Pro DAC
Belles 21A Pre Upgraded with Mundorf Supremes
B&K M200 Sonata monoblocks refreshed and upgraded
    Polk SDA 1C's modded / 1000Va Dreadnaught
Wireworld Silver Eclipse IC's and speaker cables
Harman Kardon T65C w/Grado Gold. (Don't laugh. It sounds great!)

Yeah it's actually amazing these speakers sound as good as they do with those crossovers. It's almost like "if it works don't mess with it", but yeah clearly there's some room for improvement there, but to what end? These are only $1k/pair speakers.

Good point. You could end up spending a grand or more on the upgrade and making them sound like a $1,500 speaker.

Yeah, it's kinda like car mods. You'll never actually "add value" to the vehicle by doing them, but it makes it personalized and improves the performance usually. Makes it something uniquely yours and it's fun.

This fall my daughter and her friend went around our neighborhood daughter was 9 at the time asking people if they could take their front yard. Charged 5$ a yard each kid. She ended with $85. Very impressed with the initiative.

    Damn that really sucks.

My question would be, will insurance cover it?
I have a hard on for insurance companies these days.

It's just some random internet kitchen -- not a very lucky one.

I just liked the 'kitchen island' gag, which was from my son.
I suggested to him that perhaps the result might be a kitchen archipelago -- and we both agreed that kitchen archipelagos are gonna be the next big thing. :#
