Only suggestion/question is would the rear speakers perform better if they're even with the rear heights? Meaning, away from the side walls about a foot or two?

My guess there's a good reason you put them where they are.

Makes good sense. I'd forgotten the driver configuration on those was like that with essentially no sound coming out one side of the cabinet.

I was also thinking a pair of 703s could serve well as rear surrounds. I've had both models in that position and preferred the 703s but they were close and I have another pair of 703s as side surrounds. I figure it's best to have all four the same model in those positions.

I think you'll be extremely impressed with those front and rear height speakers for Atmos.

That's a small space for all those speakers.

I was gona ask the same question.. attaching a mount to the plastic like that.. it held up? Heavy speaker.. if so I'd like to know what mount you used cause I'm debating having mine as height channels.

The mount's are screwed through the plastic down to the wood. I've had no issues with them hanging up almost 2 years now. I was thinking of upgrading the attachment with T-nuts on the inside and switching to machine screws with standoffs.

Well, I think it's probably time for some finished pics.....you had me at "two rows of 3...". And maybe a rundown of your finished theater.....and your thoughts on it's performance since completion.
