So... our daughter and son-in-law really, really enjoy mountain hiking. They usually do at least one big, fast hike in the summer, so, the rest of the year, they spend what little free time they have training for it by doing myriad smaller (but still nontrivial) hikes. Since they have two kids, they tend to do their offseason training separately, e.g., she does one on one weekend morning, and he does one on the other weekend morning. On Saturday, whilst our son-in-law, we, their kids (our grandchildren), and his parents were at the soccer fields
our daughter was on a morning hike on NH's Mt. Lafayette. Mind you, she started in darkness (days are gettin' short here), but that does come with some benefits.
She sent us this photo from the summit.

Loved that film! First time I ever felt sick watching a gory scene was from that film. (not why I loved it). Also, at the end of that clip, looked like the c9ver art for The Deep?txcoastalg1 wrote: »
