That photo, amusingly enough, was posted to twitter by Dixie Whatley, who used to be a TV reporter on WCVB in Boston back when we were in the Bay State.
Guess she moved south.

Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Now that's a great looking fence!

The Virginia creeper foliage on the Tu Hwnt i'r Bont (Beyond the Bridge) tearoom in Llanrwst, Conwy, north Wales, has changed colour from green to red. It was built as a home in 1480 but has been a tearoom for more than 50 years.

10-4.
That's our across the street neighbors.
That's a big-money dry field stone wall, and it is indeed gorgeous.
Interestingly, it needs a fair amount of maintenance, due to the annual freeze-thaw.
It's rather enjoyable to watch a stone wall builder... umm... build a stone wall.
Most of us have the 18th/19th century field stone walls, which are rather more utilitarian.

Chevy has released a sneak photo of next year's truck model....You think they went far enough this time?

Tom
Hopefully the lights are brighter than those on current trucks and cars.
I'm only blinded enough to see spots right now, which I particularly enjoy when I'm riding a motorcycle on a dark road at night, but it's not quite bright enough to force a crash yet, and I enjoy a good challenge.

I hear you! They might as well finish the job when they start it, right?

ahem.
I do wish to point out that chlorophyll and most if not all of the other pigments found in the leaves of deciduous trees are fluorescent.

Here's a more typically déclassé New England stone wall (i.e., one of ours).

Our next-door (for lack of a better word -- it's the next house down the hill!) neighbors are having a backyard wedding this afternoon. It's a shame the weather's not better, you know?

Actually, it's not, technically, a wedding. One of their sons got married during the COVID times (a small family-type wedding). They're now making up for that with a real celebratory shindig.

Including some offsite parking and shuttle service from another Taylor brother's farm down the street.
