MagnifiMax SR volume control

Whenever I change the volume on the soundbar, I also have to re-enter the input (ie TV). What is the fix for this? Did I hook it up wrong? Thanks.

Probably the best place to begin would by calling Polk at: 1-800-377-7655 and follow the prompts to soundbar help.

Thanks for the tip! I was on with them 30+ minutes a couple weeks ago, and he couldn't figure it out. He said someone would call me back or email me, but nothing yet.

Edit: more specifically, after looking into this a bit more, this issue seems to be triggered when you "enable voice control and more" in the device settings in Google Home and also when you enable Playback sounds (Cast start and volume changes) there. If I don't enable those, I don't have a problem with the volume.
