Thanks for the memories. Found this old black and white of my 1967 Camaro Rally Sport a week or two ago. Really regretted selling it. Ordered new from Bueill Jones Chevrolet in Bremen GA with 327 engine and Hurst shifter.

What kinda question is that, asking a man about his thistle. Publicly, no less! Psssh. Tbf, he did post a photo of it.

    No, this one's not, actually.
That's an autumn-blooming aster. We have dozens (a SWAG) of species of asters, with large or tiny flowers, ranging from white to deep purple-blue, that bloom across the whole span of warm weather here. These fairly deep purple ones, that bloom late (just before frost) are my favorite. We have small clumps of them here and there. This particular clump is 'new to me" this year :) The blossoms apparently close at least a bit in the late afternoon (most of the asters don't) -- or maybe they're just nearing... you know... The End. :|

At any rate, I love 'em and spend time trying - and mostly failing - to take photos that show them as I see them . :p
