    So today we had some storms blow through, was out afterwards assessing the damage (not too bad), lots of smaller branches down too.

    Sorry to hear about the damage around you. Glad it wasn't worse.

    That's about like tornados and hurricanes. The next days are usually beautiful clear skies since the moisture in the sky has been wrung out and the rest moved on.

    Even "stick shift" might be too vague, since most automatics have a stick shifter in the console.
