    I got a line on an NOS Denon DL-160, still in the plastic case.
    High output coil. A bit newer than the 60s-70s, but supposed to be a good one.

    What should I offer the guy that's fair to both of us?

    I installed it on my Technics SL-1100A using the Geo-Disc that came in my old MFSL Beatles Box Set.
    Only had time to listen to one side of my new "Ram" remastered LP.
    I was blown away!!!
    Certainly sounded better than listening to the same recording in back in 1971 on my parents Sears Silvertone suitcase record player!

    I did a comparison to my old Shure V15 Type III, that has an old "real" Ed Saunders stylus. (as compared to the newer- questionable ones)

    The Denon won, hands down.
