    2.3's for sale nearby... thinking about jumping in, but he's done a bunch of things to the cabinets that I'm feeling a little leery about. He added 3/4" MDF to the interior sides and baffle, then added more bracing, then lined it with what looks like Noico... all reducing internal volume... Drivers are Dynamatted as well. Terminal cups and interconnect have been modified. Crossovers are stock.

    Thoughts?

    That's pretty out there. For one thing, it seems like the extra 3/4" of MDF on the inside of the baffle would substantially occlude the basket frame windows on the MWs. For a passive radiator system that could have negative effects, not to mention the internal volume being reduced significantly. I sure wouldn't pay that much, at least not without some serious listening tests.

    There's something wrong with those. How did he do the work? Are those 2.3 crossovers? IIRC 2.3's are taller than SRS 2. The stickers do say SDA SRS 2 so adding two more woofers ....hmmm
