The Chinese rocket launched last week will crash back on Earth this week, and where the 21 ton first stage crashes is unknown. It appears this is the way it is designed, and China has at least 10 more launches to go for building their space station.

So at 4:40 am PST I saw what was this thing re-entering the atmosphere. Epically cool! Didn't take any pics or videos because I didn't want to miss any of it.

Edit: Never mind, it was Starlink. Never even knew that was a thing until now...

"BEIJING (AP) — The largest section of the rocket that launched the main module of China's first permanent space station into orbit is expected to plunge back to Earth as early as Saturday at an unknown location.

Usually, discarded rocket stages are immediately guided into a controlled demolition by friction in Earth's atmosphere, but the Chinese rocket section was not.

China's space agency has yet to say whether the “core stage” of the huge Long March 5B rocket is being controlled or will make an out-of-control descent. Last May, another Chinese rocket fell uncontrolled into the Atlantic Ocean off West Africa."

Couldn't we consider the Chinese space effort as "infrastructure" so that we could help them out financially in their efforts to conquer......space..
I think that would be fair.
