    Cafe Latte with Matte.

    Or... maybe... just maybe...
Mr. Polk was actually named after the BALTIMORE Colts' great player of yesteryear, Tom Matte?
    I mean... it's possible, right?

Correct sir! "Matte" Polk, as he was fondly referred to in his inner circle, did not achieve the success he did by glossing over engineering challenges!

It was not uncommon for someone in R & D to shout out "Matte!" or "Matte baby! Come check this out!"

Hey thanks G, there's a whole lot more wrong with that page than misspelling our founder's name. That's an earlier version of the website that's loading. Would you mind letting me know how you found it?

Also, kudos on the "Matte/Gloss" pun, that's exactly my sense of humor.

    Thanks,

    Carl

Let @CarlJacobson_POLK know about it so they can have a few staff meetings about it and then get it corrected in oh say the next 90 days.

Edit: I see that he's already been tagged. Oh well, my joke stands. :p

I gave them a plug when I said it looks like they hit a homerun with the Reserve Series and I halfway expected to be sent an R700 pair to review, so maybe I'm just a tad bitter :D

But seriously, ya ever heard of constructive criticism? Maybe the IT / web design staff are busy designing the next generation of ports or crossovers, who knows?
