Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

That there is funny. I have a aunt who lives in New Haven Conn on Winchester Ave. They have drive by shootings weekly. Her husband has a scooter when he isn't in his Mercedes. He finds it easy to travel in the city. I go & visit like a dumb a$$ with no clue as to city life there. I walk those streets like it was the safest place on earth. They look at me & laugh & call me the crazy guy from up north. I just like people of all types. We are all different & all good people. I'd have a vehicle like you'd see on Mad Max

    Randy,
You and I seem to visit the same places. About 1979 to 1983, I went to New Haven several times to a bank's headquarters downtown New Haven. At that time, the hotels were awful and downtown area awful too. It was a scary place; I mean no disrespect to anyone living there. I did find the people were great, and I was taken to several historical restaurants and private clubs that originated in the late 1800's. Getting to New Haven was not fun driving from LaGuardia Airport up I-95. The rental cars at LaGuardia were always the dirtiest and worst cars. New Haven rivaled Stamford Connecticut at the time as not a good place to visit, and I did visit Stamford too for several days on two occasions.
