    Just a generic surge protector power strip .

    Problem is the outlet is 2 prong ungrounded ...
    House was built in 1939 .

    Need to have a dedicated 20amp line run in ....

    Whole house surge protector always good. See if it can be installed between the incoming service and the panel for extra protection.

    It's a good piece for that price. If you want something better with more outlets hit me up I have a few APC H10's laying around.
